Edoe Cohen
Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Jerusalem

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Edoe Cohen moved with his family to Israel in 1993. After studying film in a Jerusalem art high school, he went on to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for six years as an infantry officer and a company commander during Operation Defensive Shield. Edoe recently received a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University and a B.A. in Modern Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, with honors. As a Grinspoon Fellow on campus, Edoe initiated a number of interfaith and Israel related projects and co-founded Café Nana, an Israeli/world Jewry café in the Columbia/Barnard Hillel. Edoe is a Fellow at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.
